Dogs and Plants
Among others, the following plants are dangerous to dogs.
Brunfeisia, also known as yesterday, today and tomorrow, Oleander, Delphinums, Foxgloves, Hydranges, Iris, Mountain laurel, Jasmine, Lantana, Wisteria, Rhubarb (leaves), Solandra Maxima, Oaks, Lilliums, Toadstools, Tulips.
Foliage, sap, flowers, fruits or nuts of the above can be toxic, even deadly if ingested by your dog.
Puppies especially under 18mths old can be even more investigative in the garden so you need to be careful of the amount of access they have. A book called Poisonous 2 Pets by Nicole O’Kane names plants presenting a danger to both cats and dogs.
