Creating the behaviour that you want in your dog

Punishment is sometimes over used with Dogs. Punishment often pushes your Dog further out of control, not to mention instils fear, as you want your dog to trust you. Alternatively, try working on a system that creates the behaviour that you want from your dog and then reward this behaviour, so your dog can see more value in behaving correctly instead of misbehaving. Your dog really does want to please YOU – the Master & Pack Leader! There are ways and means to achieve this through food rewards or attention (TLC) or your dog’s favourite toy or game! Remember to keep a calm assertive energy around your dog at all times, as dog’s pick up on Energy.
