Puppy class plusses

The advantage of off-leash instruction time and/or play time during classes. Avoid soft tissue injuries or worse by safe supervised play with appropriate dogs.  Play sessions can be divided into mellow or shy and more boisterous personalities so no-one gets too overwhelmed.

Puppy gets to meet other pups of varying sizes and breeds. Finding out which critical development stages to anticipate before they occur. The trainer will be able to let you know what amount of rough-housing and vocalization eg growling is just play and at what point you should intervene.

Some will have a set number of classes with the same group of dogs going through together and others will be more like a revolving door where some are just starting while others are finishing up. There are various training styles and philosophy’s.  What type of method does the trainer use, traditional, clicker, or otherwise?
