BEFORE you get a puppy

The time to find out what is involved with raising a dog is before you get the dog.  That way you know what to anticipate and you can stay one or more steps ahead of the developmental stages.

Of course what you do in the first 3 months is crucial but it needn’t stop there.  We strongly recommend doing your homework before you undertake a puppy as some lifestyle changes may be necessary to accommodate the pups needs, especially in the early months.
