A Dog Knows

Sometimes a dog just knows.  Manny had a beautiful female Doberman called Bolero.  She was 10 years of age.  Average lifespan for her breed is around 10 to 13 years.

Bolero had a number of cancerous lumps developing. He knew that he was coming to a point where he needed to make a decision about her.  She wasn’t usually a house-dog but one morning she was persistent about coming in.  She went to each of the children’s bedrooms for a visit and then came back to her master in the lounge.  She nuzzled into him, gave a big sigh and passed away in his arms.   (Another dobi has modelled for this phototgraph).
