What a Scorcher !
Well folks summer has announced her arrival. Why not give your dog access to an instant cool off in the yard? Providing a shallow wading pool can be a breath of fresh air for your dog on a hot day. Puppy school’s often have a swim on offer in the way of those standard ‘half –shell’ shaped plastic pools with a ramp in and out to get younger dogs used to the water. Larger or older dogs can just get in and flop whenever the heat gets too much. Your dog needs to be able to enter and exit the water by themselves if left alone. Of course if you have an above or below ground swimming pool you wish to share with your dog, check out the internet for ramps and other tools which make it easily accessible for him. Supervision is required at all times where children can access water regardless of depth.
