… is the name of a campaign associated with thefamilydog.com based in New Jersey.

It educates how to give your family and kids safety around dogs.  77% of bites are delivered from the family dog or from the dog of a friend.

contains some important videos.  Please take the time to watch, each video is only minutes long and could be the difference between a good or bad experience for your child.

Leah and Justine have created this program and website with care so that humans and dogs can live in harmony and give clear directions about how to respect a dogs space in order to minimize the potential of harm.

There’s a poster you can print out.  You may wish to consider sharing the website with friends or teachers.  For those interested there is even online direction on offer.

Just like dogs need repetition to learn things so do our kids.  Give the kids a chance to practice until it becomes second nature.
