Do yourself a favour and catch the ‘Walks with my Dog’ series on Lifestyle Channel.

Each episode presents well-known celebrities, following them intimately on a walk with their dog/s through some wonderful British scenery.

The dog-owners get to nominate the destination by choosing one of their favourite ‘dog-friendly’ regions.

Locations include some really impressive landscapes; sprawling fields, hills, the grandeur of mountains, sleepy towns, castles, manors, forests, rivers, beautiful beaches, even panoramic cliff walks.

The program is generous in the way the characters give an informative commentary of the area and various landmarks or points of interest along the way.  Often they chat with locals and everyone gets to find out a little more about the history of each stop.

Each celebrity includes a brief story about how he or she met their dog or how they became familiar with the breed.  You will see some delightful footage of the dogs both on and off-leash interacting with environment and of course, their doting owners. Some visit enchanted forests that open up to grand country estates along their way.  Picturesque hills lead down to seaside villages and grand hikes deliver breathtaking views.

We can’t think of a nicer way to relax than to watch an owner enjoying the great outdoors with their favourite furry friend/s.  We know you are going to love it too.  This program really gives you a wonderful sense of calm and is a visual adventure accompanied by that special feeling you only get when being with your dog.
