Doggy Easter
As the bunny approaches a couple of things ‘hop’ to mind. Please keep chocolate out of reach from your dog.
The ingredients in chocolate which affects both dogs and cats are caffeine and theobromine. Both are nervous stimulants.
Examples of symptoms of chocolate toxicity – Muscle twitching, vomiting, diarrhea, restlessness, excessive panting, hyperactivity and increased urination. And those sweet smelling lolly or chocolate wrappers need to go in the bin or they may be consumed.
That plush Easter Bunny toy may be friendly for the kids than for fido. Stuffing, eyes and ribbons can be swallowed. Perhaps you and the kids can make up a pet-friendly easter basket for the dog if you want him to celebrate with you.
