Dog Christmas Treats

…are anything on their usual menu but as we approach the festive season there are a bunch of foods around we don’t usually have.

Here are a few things commonly around at Christmas your dog should avoid.

Chocolate

Grapes

Cooked bones

Nuts

Foods made with raisins or sultanas

e.g. Christmas cake or pudding

Alcohol

Remember that yummy foods in wrappers can be double trouble as their wrappers may be ingested aswell.  Humans are not the only ones known to overeat at Christmas.  If everyone tosses the dog a tasty morsel it can really add up so keep your eye on the dog next week and let everyone know the rules.
