Your Dog’s Emergency Plan

 

Imagine you have only minutes to leave your property!

 

What to store in your portable kit for your dog.

 

1.    A lead, harness or method of restraint.

2.    Medication e.g. for heart cond’ or diabetes.

3.    Microchip number.

4.    Documentation or evidence of last vaccination in case of accommodation.

5.    A recent photograph (in case you get separated).

6.    One toy or item with a familiar scent.

7.    Water bowl or collapsible bowl and water.

8.    Portion of dog food.

 

These items are easily stored in a tool kit or bag, ready to go at a moments notice.

 

In our land of fire and flood we should be prepared. Let’s hope you never need it.
