Therefore we only recruit the very best Dog Handlers (on a Casual Basis).  As we run Outdoor Doggy Daytrips, our Team must also be very physically fit & Active to keep up with all the Action! 1. What we Look for in New Team Members –

   Strong Dog Handling Skills
   Confident in Dog Body Language & sound knowledge of Dog Breeds
   Reliable & Punctual
   A willingness to Learn and Invest time into gaining more Knowledge & Skills of Dog Pack Behaviour
   Ability to Communicate effectively with Clients and other Team Members
   work independently and Unsupervised
   Confident at assessing all workplace risks associated with the job
   be extremely observant of your surroundings
   a Drivers Licence and a vehicle that can transport up to 2 Dogs (if required)
   Physically fit & Active.  Confident around water, as we swim our Doggy Pack at the Beach
   Must be willing to work at both Houndog Locations – North and Southside of Brisbane

If you’ve only had limited experience with Dogs, but you have a Superstar Attitude, we would consider Mentoring the right person who is serious about switching to this Industry. If we decide to Mentor you, you’ll be required to do 15 hours of Training with Houndog (on your own time) just to gain the basics.
